KAMAHUI

Connecting with the forest is reconnecting with yourself.

KAMAHUI means "the voice of the jaguar".

An ancestral call that crosses the forest, echoes in the soul and awakens. It is the sound that is born from the depths, where silence breathes and nature speaks.

It is strength, it is presence, it is wisdom in motion.

The Kamahui project is an initiative built with great passion, aiming to cultivate forest art, indigenous culture, and encourage entrepreneurship among native peoples. Beyond art, the initiative also promotes immersion in the study of Noke Koî and tourism within indigenous communities , offering authentic, profound, unique, and transformative experiences that bring visitors closer to the ancestral guardians of the forest and their age-old wisdom. In this way, it directly contributes to the development and empowerment of indigenous communities, supporting and giving visibility to their causes.

To speak of the forest is to speak of indigenous peoples!

For these people, there is no separation from nature; they are part of this environment, they feel they belong to the territory as if they were an extension of it.

The Brazilian territory once had more than 1,300 indigenous peoples, with approximately 4 million people living in harmony with nature since time immemorial. Resisting the oppression of invaders, today in Brazil there are only more than 305 indigenous ethnic groups, speaking more than 274 different languages.

After more than 500 years of attempts to subdue and silence these peoples, today we have the opportunity to redefine this relationship with Indigenous peoples, not by trying to give them a voice, because they have never stopped expressing their cultures, praying, and crying out for their lives and the forest, but rather by giving them space and supporting them to amplify their causes and representation as true guardians of the forest and ancestral knowledge, thus allowing their voices to resonate further and building a relationship of respect and honor!

As warrior peoples with deep roots, today they not only resist, but re-exist, showing that even if they want to erase their history from this land, they will continue fighting day after day for life, for their cultures, for their rights, for their territories, and for the standing forest!
